Many bills are in the legislative process in California, aiming to facilitate 5G grids and infrastructure for the telecoms by taking authority away from municipalities. As in Canada, telecoms hold great power in state and federal politics through lobbying and "donations" to politicians. There are some excellent videos in this article. We need to be fighting this as hard as possible because our local governments need to know that they are not alone in fighting 5G.
